As an Engineer Mechanical Design Bioprocessing, you will develop a modular platform for bioprocessing plants and work on the conceptual and detailed design within customer projects while adhering to technical, economic, and time constraints.

Other tasks include creating documents for the design concept for the installation of plants, taking into account accessibility for operation and maintenance. Your responsibilities also include designing for installation, as well as escape and rescue routes. You will conduct 3D reviews with customers together with the project manager.

You will support in creating proposals, acceptance tests, and the preparation of operating instructions.

You will be the contact person for all modeling and collaboration software needed in the project. Practical experience on construction sites would be an ideal addition to your profile.

Qualifications

  • You have a degree in mechanical engineering, technical building services, waste and disposal technology, or a comparable field.
  • You have excellent knowledge of AutoCad, preferably also in Cadison and BIM applications (Plant 3D, Revit, etc.).
  • Your knowledge is complemented by experience in platform development for plants.
  • Your approach to complex issues is analytical, solution-oriented, and structured. In addition, you have sound knowledge of designing piping systems and supports, as well as GMP ("Good Manufacturing Practice").
