- This position will support the material movements between Nassco and our facility.
- Duties will include writing requisitions, release work packets, unloading delivery trucks, delivering material to the assigned locations, check inventory, update managers of any material damaged or missing, prepare material that needs to go to the warehouse and other assigned duties.
- Keep forklift in good working order.
- Load, unload trucks/containers (receiving/shipping) & put away product using forklift.
- They are to pull and pick orders, to stage, as well as the loading and unloading of trucks/containers.
- Pick and pull customers' orders.
- Generate, scan and affix labels to cartons.
- Scan inbound/outbound materials accurately and properly.
- Run reconciliation report to verify receiving transaction validity and accuracy.
- Check outbound materials accuracy against the requirement/paperwork
- Conduct weight testing IAW specified tech manuals for equipment such as Cranes, Davits, Winches, Anchors, and anchor chains, within safety guidelines.
- Control movement of heavy objects/equipment through narrow openings and confined spaces, using jacks, pulley blocks, chain falls, and rollers.
- Install hooks, swivels, and turn buckles in rigging operations.
- Properly use signals with workers operating cranes or other equipment to move loads safely and successfully.
- Select and attach gears, braces and cushions according to weight and distribution of the load.
