    Location: Candidate May Reside Anywhere in the US with a Preference from Mid West to East Coast

    Aramsco is a leading specialty distributor to contractors and facility maintenance professionals throughout the U.S. and Canada. The company sells over 50,000 critical consumable and equipment products through an omnichannel approach, including on-site delivery and same-day pickup across its footprint of more than 80 branches.

    Aramsco is headquartered in Radnor, PA and has more than 1,000 employees. The company is highly diversified by end market with key focus areas, including restoration, abatement, facility maintenance, traffic safety, professional cleaning, surface preparation, and stone care. The company's end market demand is driven by recurring, non-discretionary demand, and an aging installed base of residential and commercial properties.

    Aramsco has a differentiated, leading presence in each of its end markets with a customer-centric sales organization, broad and deep set of available products, an extensive value-added technical service offering, and a significant nationwide geographic presence. In addition to market growth, the company is driving organic growth by targeting new customers, new markets, and incremental share of wallet with existing customers. The company is active in M&A, including the completion of 44 acquisitions since 2013.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    KEY REPONSIBILITIES:
    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented leader to manage and drive results within our high-priority supply chain initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects on time and within budget. The candidate will be expected to coordinate resourcing, build relationships across functional leaders, and collaborate with 3rd party contractors/consultants. As a project leader in our organization, you will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, and maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement in our supply chain processes. To succeed in this role, you should be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of successfully managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a profound understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within our business.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Develop detailed project plans, including milestones and deadlines
    • Coordinate with team members for timely project completion
    • Manage budget by monitoring expenditures against allocated funds
    • Report project status and issues to upper management
    • Lead team members to work effectively and meet deadlines
    • Review project plans continuously for feasibility, scope, and risks
    • Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet objectives
    • Lead project team to achieve goals within quality standards
    • Forecast and manage resources efficiently to achieve objectives
    • Assist in preparing budget based on work scope and resources
    • Regularly update stakeholders on strategy, progress, and adjustments
    • Apply industry best practices and standards in project execution
    • Evaluate project performance for continuous improvement
    Key ongoing strategic projects that will fall under this project leader include:

    Distribution Center Strategy Execution
    • Aramsco recently embarked on building a national network of distribution centers across the United States. The first location near Philadelphia, PA is underway and needs to be managed to completion in Q3 of 2024
    • The 2nd distribution center will be located near Lakeland, FL. Site selection is underway, and the plan is for the distribution center to be live Q1 of 2025 and will be primarily managed by this Project Leader
    Inventory Strategy Execution
    • As the distribution center strategy shifts, the stocking strategy will need to be developed and executed across the new DCs and existing branch network
    • This Project Leader will need to collaborate and help manage the decision-making process with the replenishment team, sales team, and regional leaders
    Qualifications/ Skills

    CORE COMPETENCIES:
    • Attention to Detail: The ideal candidate will be meticulous about the critical details for special projects and be highly organized.
    • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to articulate what is needed from each team member to achieve success
    • Time Management: The ideal candidate must possess strong time management skills to ensure project completion within established deadlines. This involves prioritizing project tasks, effectively allocating resources, and managing task dependencies while helping team members optimize their workflow
    • Relevant Industry and Functional Experience: The ideal candidate will work or will have worked in distribution/industrials/consumer businesses with relevant overlap to Aramsco. Also a preference for team members with network or distribution center experience previously.

    • Be accustomed to working on multiple tasks in parallel
