Description

Title insurance agency seeking detail-oriented individual to review documents in title abstracts and prepare title reports for real estate transactions.

You will play an important role in ensuring that buyers are buying real property that is legally clean and marketable and in a timely manner.

Experience in real estate law or title field preferred but not required as we are willing to train. Work is ON-SITE in Brooklyn (two blocks from N train station).

Duties and Responsiblities:

Process and order title searches, abstracts and land surveys
Review documents such as deeds, mortgages, satisfactions, and papers from foreclosure or probate proceedings
Read and review the title abstracts, surveys, and tax maps
Accurately type and compile the title reports for attorneys within deadline
Prepare closing documents, review closing packages and record documents.

Pay:
$40, $60,000.00 per year
