Description

We are looking for a S4 Data Center Technician to join our team in Ephrata. This individual will be responsible for implementing standardized workflows, troubleshooting unexpected issues, and identifying opportunities for growth within our German team.

Working closely with the local Site Manager, this person will mentor and develop the team of Technicians, and communicate strategy, vision, and feedback to both the team and leadership.

As a technical expert, this individual will be a valuable resource for the team and will collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve processes. They will also serve as the main point of contact for technical incidents, escalations, and retrofits at the site.

In addition, this role will involve leading a team of data center shift technicians to ensure that systems are returned to production in a timely and efficient manner for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global standards and workflows and be able to implement them at the local data center site.

Mentoring and developing technicians to perform daily operations with minimal supervision will also be a key responsibility. This includes managing server upgrades, integration, automated OS provisioning, rebuilds, and other projects as needed. The individual in this role should also have the ability to identify and troubleshoot network, hardware, and Linux OS related issues.
