    Description


    Tier 1 Private Equity Firm located in West Los Angeles is on the market for a strong Tax Manager with 5 years of relevant tax experience in asset management.

    We are also interested in Senior Accountant candidates with 2-4.5 years of experience looking for growth opportunities within a leading PE fund.


    This role offers an exceptional opportunity to be involved in intricate tax operations and strategies for a high-performing investment firm and work with a world-class team.

    This candidate will be part of a team of 3 tax specialists and report directly to the VP of Tax and work closely with the fund CFO.

    Responsibilities

    Collaborate closely with both in-house and external accountants to manage tax withholding analyses, income forecasts, and regulatory compliance for various investment activities.

    Play a crucial role in handling investor-related tax queries in conjunction with the Investor Relations team.
    Ensure rigorous compliance with international tax laws, including FATCA and CRS.

    Participate in strategic planning with our investment and executive teams to identify and mitigate tax risks and structure investments effectively.

    Oversee the preparation and filing of key tax documents such as 1099s and 1042s, and ensure timely processing of tax payments and refunds.

    Manage federal and state tax filings for multiple entities, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
    Stay updated on tax regulations and communicate potential impacts to leadership.
    Contribute to the broader accounting and legal teams by supporting GAAP audits and other ad-hoc reporting needs.

    Qualifications

    You hold a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    You have 2-5+ years of relevant tax experience in the industry.
    You possess strong organizational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
    You thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
    You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
    Experience with accounting software and systems is a must; CPA certification is a plus.
