    About The Team

    The Trust team builds tools and solutions to strengthen the security of Atlassian's products and services in order to position Atlassian as a trustworthy partner to customers of all sizes worldwide.

    As a senior member of the team you will bring the leadership necessary to transform and drive the Trust strategy.

    This is a unique opportunity to influence important technical decisions across the company. You will work with world-class engineering teams and security experts to build central solutions while breaking down technical barriers and strengthening existing systems.

    As a member of the TPM team, you will also shape the emerging TPM craft. You will demonstrate strong technical depth, and shape product strategy and drive its execution in close collaboration with stakeholders across numerous crafts and product areas.

    What You'll Do

    • Analyze the current state of Trust, business objectives, customer needs, product adoption inhibitors, industry trends, and define a long-term strategy and roadmap for Trust.
    • Ensure translation of the strategy and platform/product requirements into technical requirements and solutions in collaboration with your partner teams and engineering counterparts.
    • Streamline the execution of the articulated roadmap. Drive adoption/usage of your solutions and tools across Atlassian products and external partners and customers.
    • Take ownership for your platform, products, programs, and customer scenarios. You will identify any inhibitors, issues or opportunities, and address them yourself or find the right owners to do so.
    • As a senior member of the Trust community, you will lead the most complex, cross-divisional projects/initiatives. This could include managing complex dependencies and projects with a broad scope across the company.
    Your Background
    • 12+ years on software teams as a TPM, Engineer, Engineering Manager or PM
    • Analyzing business priorities, customer needs, industry trends and articulating a long-term roadmap for your area of responsibilities
    • Translating customer and/or product requirements into technical requirements
    • Influencing architecture or technical design, by leveraging subject matter expertise and technical depth
    • Driving projects spanning multiple teams, including negotiating and reaching agreement with partners and stakeholders, shepherding the project while identifying and mitigating risks, making trade-off decisions that optimize the outcome
    • Experience building commercial Cloud Services
    • Experience in Security technologies
    Compensation

    At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

    Zone A: $230,900 - $307,800

    Zone B: $207,800 - $277,100

    Zone C: $191,700 - $255,500

    This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
