Description
As the front office manager you will manage all aspects of the front office. You will direct and coordinate all activities such as reservations, guest service, and employee scheduling. Your department is the first and last impression that a guest has of the hotel. This position has potential growth to advance to AGM.


Day to Day Operations:

  • Ensure front office staff is properly trained on systems, security, service and quality standards.
  • Offer a warm welcome and speedy, efficient checkin and checkout service for guests.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas and take immediate actions to correct deficiencies.
  • Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handle in a secure manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
  • Manage daytoday staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.
  • 3+ years front office/management experience.
  • Ability to multitask and manage your time.
  • No fear of decisionmaking.
  • Exceptional customer service and strong leadership skills.
  • Hands on leader.
  • Passion and dedication for customer service

  • Computer knowledge
  • Flexibility to work some nights, weekends and/or holidays.
