Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team.
As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our dental practice.
This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and maintaining a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information to patients
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect patient information, update medical records, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with billing and financial transactions, including processing payments and managing accounts receivable
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely delivery of services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist is required
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks is preferred
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and billing procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
