Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and supporting the overall operations of our medical facility.

Duties:

• Perform basic clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, recording patient medical history, and preparing patients for examinations
• Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
• Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication instructions
• Assist with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices
• Proficiency in performing basic life support techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service

Skills:

• Proficient in taking vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
• Ability to provide basic medical administrative support (scheduling appointments, maintaining records)
• Familiarity with common medical procedures and treatments
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care
