    Description
    Our client, one of the largest banks in the US with wealth management, investment banking, and international business, is seeking an Application Programmer V

    Location: Jersey City, NJ
    Position Type: Contract

    Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
    • Individual should be able to demonstrate technical and analytical skill in developing PL/SQL scripts (expert level knowledge required) in support of model development.
    • Responsible for developing Unix scripting to support process/model runs.
    • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
    • Responsible to develop test cases and perform unit testing.
    • Must be able to interact and co-ordinate with distributed team.
    • Must have good communication skills.
    • Responsible to provide regular task status update to the management.
    • Technically strong in PL/SQL programming.
    • Technically strong in performance tuning of targets, sources, mapping, SQL queries and Informatica Power center. Conceptually good in PL/SQL, Functions, and writing complex SQLs, and creating and exposing views/materialized views. Strong in UNIX commands and Scripting.
    • Pythonn, Source control repository - SVN/BitBucket, Continuous Build & integration tools (IBM UBuild/Jenkins, IBM UDeploy/Ansible)
    • Expert in PL/SQL programming and Database design, with strong data analysis skills
    • Self-managed and proactive communicator
    • Unix scripts
    • Autosys
    • Informatica for ETL
    • Previous experience of working in a data warehouse project is a plus
    • Python programming
    • Tableau/reporting experience
    • Experience in working with Mulesoft and other API technologies.
