Description
This position will help support the Sales Coordination, Sales Representative, and Logistics teams.

Customer Service Associate performs various duties related to customer service, customer billing, and general administrative to ensure customer satisfaction.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Key Account Order Coordination:
  • Completes billing for select customer orders & adjusting documents
  • Validates & Processes credits/additional billing for customer accounts
  • Completes various daily tasks related to order completion
  • Maintain close communication with Sales Representatives, Sales Coordination, and Accounts Receivable associates concerning customer pricing issues
  • Key Logistics Coordination
  • Organize/Manage all PODs/BOLs and Packing Slips
  • Assists Logistics Team with various daily tasks
  • Establishes and ensures communication between appropriate persons, both internal (respective intercompany departments) and external (customers, brokers, thirdparty transportation, etc.
  • Company Point of Entry Task Force
  • Fields all "Walk-In" public & customer questions/issues
  • Fields all deliveries of supplies, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Manage credit card payments & reconciliation of cash
  • Complete various monthly & yearly reporting for management
  • Research/Troubleshoot any customer deductions as assigned

Skills and Abilities

  • Listening, oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel and AS400 system preferred
  • Willingness to engage in a variety of multiple tasks, work with mínimal supervision, and identifying problems effectively
  • Maintain a friendly, positive attitude with others, especially customers, and work productively in a team environment

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required
  • Experience with ERP, AS400, or computer knowledge preferred
  • 13 years of experience with customer servicerelated tasks preferred
