  • Conducts all business calls and interactions with proficiency, accuracy and in a professional manner.
  • Provides prompt if not immediate response to clients or client referral sources regarding changes in scheduling, availability of staff, problems, cancellations, notifications, etc.
  • Interacts with Care Managers and upper managemen and all clinical staff in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Performs all scheduling functions by constantly logging any change in employee/client schedule into HomeCare IT scheduling software. Documents all necessary items as "notes" in HomeCare IT.
  • Reviews and manages all client status changes within the Provider Direct database.
  • Possesses the knowledge about home care and be able to advise clients and employees when necessary.
  • Participate in employee orientation and continually work through issues with direct field staff.
  • Responsible to fill every possible case referred by contracting agencies and referral sources in as timely a fashion as possible.
  • Possesses knowledge about HIPAA, ethical/moral standards, client right to privacy, and issues of confidentiality.
  • Thinks, communicates and acts clearly and quickly.
  • Addresses issues of paperwork, adherence to scheduling and personnel problems directly with staff.
  • Demonstrates networking skills and an ability to attract clients and referral sources in a legitimate, professional manner.
  • Possesses advanced writing skills required to compose incident reports, memos and other written assignments when necessary.
  • Requires intense attention and concentration. Good visual, verbal and hearing skills.
  • Possesses flexibility and ability to deal with a wide range of personality types and ages.
  • Required to attend events such as Job Fair, Community events, promoting the Organization in the Community.
  • Required to be on a weekend call at least once a month.
  • Required to wear different Hats and be able to perform office duties as scheduled by the Director.

Requirements:


  • Experience in home care, specifically as a caregiver or scheduling coordinator, preferred.
  • Some College Education
