Description

Title: CMS Analyst

Client: Energy, Oil & Gas Company

Location: Houston, Texas

Type: Contract (Hybrid)

Pay: $40-45/hour DOE

Summary:

Support Digital Operations Team maintaining CMS system application managing content for products, price updates across on-line sales channels.
Coordinate content updates initiating self-service digital journeys and providing business marketing support.
Identify CMS defects troubleshooting and resolution within company content management systems (CMS).
Learn and understand CMS systems functionality and interfaces at a very detailed level.

Duties:

Maintain content elements for products and prices across Company's brands and web sales channels, including organic, state sites, and partners.
Set-up new products and associated CMS content, updating prices, and performing validation to make sure that the updates are error free.
Act as a business liaison to IT for systems and web assets troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Run reports and utilize various available monitoring tools to ensure that the application performance and errors are within the baseline levels.
Identify or escalated CMS issues, perform troubleshooting to determine whether there are data and coding issues.
Provide business process knowledge support to IT as they work to make code changes or data repairs to resolve issues.
Provide application testing support, including unit testing and regression testing. This includes supporting monthly evening content code releases.
Utilize various automation tools to reduce manual tasks, improve quality and improve speed to market.
Update CMS timely communication via project dashboards, status reports, metrics, schedule status, etc.

Requirements:

2+ years' professional experience preferably supporting front end development, digital communications, and/or the journey experience.
Ideal experience working with either CMS tools Drupal, Magento, Joomla, Sitecore, SDL Tridion, or AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
Preferred qualifications working knowledge of Tridion CMS and/or AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) would be a big plus
Experience with process automation, such as RPA, as well as SQL querying.
Experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to include creating process maps, and user flows.
Working knowledge of relational database concepts, and HTML.
Proficient in MS Visio, Power Point, and MUST have strong Excel skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree is required.
