    Job Description

    The Front Desk Associate position is focused primarily on public contact by addressing program registrations, assisting walk-in visitors, and answering telephone inquiries. The employees of the City are required to serve citizens and customers in a tactful, courteous manner; and establish and maintain good working relationships with staff, directors, elected officials, and the general public.

    Compensation
    $13.00-$15 per/hour. This is a part-time 28-hour per-week position and is not eligible for benefits nor paid time off.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age and have earned a High School degree.
    • Must be able to have good attendance, be proficient in Office365 programs, type a minimum of 60 WPM, and be able to use a calculator.
    • Must be customer-oriented and maintain excellent customer service.
    • Must be able to pass a post-offer background check, and physical and drug screening.


    Essential Job Functions

    • Greets and assists the general public, provides information, and accepts fees and registrations for programs.
    • Assisting customers with facility regulations and policies.
    • Prepares facility spaces for events.
    • Records and assists with rentals.
    • Report unsafe conditions in the buildings/premises, injuries, or incidents that occur at the Center to the Director or Deputy Director.
    • Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and/or Holidays as required.
    • Assisting with other duties as assigned.
