Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
• Present menus to customers and answer any questions regarding menu items
• Take food and drink orders accurately
• Enter orders into the POS system (Toast) for processing
• Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
• Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on tables regularly
• Provide recommendations on menu items based on customer preferences
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Process customer payments using cash register or other payment methods
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including dining areas, restrooms, and server stations

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Server or in the food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of basic math for handling payments accurately
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and guest services
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
