JOB SUMMARY:


The Supply Systems Analyst analyzes transactions/data to determine problem area; determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions; provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations; coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems; and research functional problem areas.

Requires knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships in order to conduct studies, reviews, and investigations.

Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions.

Performs as the WMS POC to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to WMS; performs WMS-MIS functions; and serves as the QMF query writer to develop new queries as required.

Uses WMS and other Government-furnished data systems to assist management in supporting mission requirements and monitoring overall performance.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and meet established productivity and quality control goals associated with assigned functional area / process.
  • Follow established guidelines in performing daytoday routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Job Breakdown sheets (JBS), Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards.
  • Adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with coworkers, site management and CGA regarding operations and policies at the Distribution Center.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract Compliance Plan, Storage Plan and workload requirements.
  • Skilled in planning, controlling, managing, multitasking and being responsible for the successful completion of work requirements.
  • Computer literate with proven experience using a warehouse management system (WMS). Distribution Standard System (DSS) and/or Query Management Facility (QMF) database experience is a plus.
  • Computer literate with proven experience in desktop computer operating system preferably Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Office.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot and support various aspects of local storage plan and other distribution processes.
