JOB SUMMARY:
The Supply Systems Analyst analyzes transactions/data to determine problem area; determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions; provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations; coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems; and research functional problem areas.
Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions.
Performs as the WMS POC to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to WMS; performs WMS-MIS functions; and serves as the QMF query writer to develop new queries as required.
Uses WMS and other Government-furnished data systems to assist management in supporting mission requirements and monitoring overall performance.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and meet established productivity and quality control goals associated with assigned functional area / process.
- Follow established guidelines in performing daytoday routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Job Breakdown sheets (JBS), Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards.
- Adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with coworkers, site management and CGA regarding operations and policies at the Distribution Center.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract Compliance Plan, Storage Plan and workload requirements.
- Skilled in planning, controlling, managing, multitasking and being responsible for the successful completion of work requirements.
- Computer literate with proven experience using a warehouse management system (WMS). Distribution Standard System (DSS) and/or Query Management Facility (QMF) database experience is a plus.
- Computer literate with proven experience in desktop computer operating system preferably Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Office.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot and support various aspects of local storage plan and other distribution processes.
