Description:

Seeking a product leader to manage the vision and workflow of new product development and sustaining.

This role will involve the conception and planning of NPD projects as well as sustaining in a multi-functional engineering team.

This individual must be self-directed and capable of managing a highly technical team of hardware, software, and mechanical engineers.

Should have a working knowledge of the design methodology employed by the team as well as the hardware and software tools that are used.

The Product Leader will lead new product development and product improvement from conception to launch. Manage and schedule all activities and hold individuals accountable for their respective responsibilities.


Desired Experience:


  • Design experience with different microcontroller architectures especially ARM (PIC, Atmel, ESP are a plus)
  • Knowledge of industrial signal types, i.e. 420mA, 05, 010, RTD, TC, etc.
  • Basic power supply knowledge. AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion.
  • EMC and EMI IEC standards
  • Field experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus)
  • AC and DC motors and drivers
  • At minimum can interpret embedded C code and MCU configuration files to understand configurations and basic functionality.
  • Able to use electronic lab equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot unproven or prototype systems.
  • Overall understanding of control systems, especially PID and bangbang.
  • Open to help customers troubleshoot and diagnose field issues.
  • Industry knowledge is a must.
