Position Overview


Roux is looking to add a drafter to support the Houston office with preparation of environmental, chemical, and engineering graphics for the evaluation, generation, and presentation of data.

AutoCAD, gINT, or other graphics software experience is required at an intermediate to advanced level.

Experience with ESRI ArcGIS, Earthsoft EQuIS, or other environmental data management software experience at a basic to intermediate level is a plus.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, those outlined below.


Position Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical judgment and problemsolving capabilities
  • High initiative, good interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure within short schedules
  • AutoCAD, gINT, or other graphics software experience is required at an intermediate to advanced level
  • ESRI ArcGIS, Earthsoft EQuIS, or other environmental data management software experience at a basic to intermediate level is a plus
  • Proficiency using MS Excel to manipulate and organize data sets
  • Ability to support other administrative functions as needed

Essential Duties

  • Prepare reportquality figures in AutoCAD
  • Prepare reportquality boring logs in gINT
  • Provide reporting support by generating and formatting tables, charts, graphs, and figures
  • Prepare crosstabulated environmental data tables
  • Digitize field data at the direction of staff personnel for inclusion in database management software or in geodatabase
  • Provide general administrative office support
