Focus:

This position engages with the full talent acquisition cycle and is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees, as well as working to improve applicant flow and diversity outreach efforts.

This role is aligned with the Corporate Talent Acquisition and Compliance team and will support Olin's manufacturing sites, business offices, and Corporate headquarters as needed, with a primary focus supporting Olin's Texas Operations.


Human Resources Talent Specialist Essential Job Functions:

  • Partners with HRBPs and hiring managers to source for and fill key roles with top talent
  • Ensures the applicant tracking system and job files are maintained correctly and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for Affirmative Action data roll up for external hires and internal competitive moves for assigned areas
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition team for oncampus recruiting efforts and managing assigned area intern/coop processes as well as leader communication and engagement

Human Resources Talent Specialist Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree* in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Organizational Development/Management, Employment Law, or Business-related discipline
  • 3+ years related human resources generalist experience; manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred
  • Excellent client relationship skills. Able to forge strong relationships with internal and external partners and be a visible representative of Olin
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and multitask efficiently
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license and be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
  • Able and willing to travel up to 15% of time, usually overnight
  • Ability and willingness to relocate within Olin to other locations in the Southeast, Gulf Coast, West Coast, or Northeast
