- Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) by performing peer reviews, QAQC on projects prior to submission, and coordinating with supervisor or electrical department leader.
- Prepare effective work plans and man-hour budgets for approval.
- Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy the client as well as control work and productivity.
- Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects.
- Participates in formulating and coordinating proposals and provides other Marketing support, including Business Development.
- Identify the project team, work packages and tasks, evaluation methods, productivity targets, schedule of deliverables and manpower needed on projects.
- Ensure everyone involved is working in accordance with all project planning and profit control procedures.
- Mentor junior staff in learning sound technical and business practices and enhancing corporate objectives.
- Assist in verifying that all design aspects comply with local code and apply code provision.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to provide a coordinated design.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
- 8+ years electrical engineering design experience is required within the architecture field.
- Licensed engineer in Michigan and/or Ohio is required.
- Intermediate to advanced level of Revit, AGI Lighting, and power studies (SKM, EasyPower, ETAP) software skills preferred.
- Passion for power, lighting, and fire alarm design.
- Willing to travel to client locations, as needed.
- Ability to climb a ladder.

Our electrical, mechanical, and plumbing engineers are experienced in a wide range of projects, including power generation & distribution, lighting systems, fire alarms, security, and access control systems. We design new and renovated systems, as well as energy controls. We offer both new building commissioning and retro-commissioning.
