- Verify incoming and outgoing shipping and/or receiving items and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Analyze written flows and checklists with regards to shipments.
- Study shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine best shipping methods.
- Perform various shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform kitting by following instructions on job travelers and Bill of Material.
- Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet shipping schedules.
- Deliver and pick up customer parts and purchased items.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to accurately track, enter, and maintain data.
- Ability to work extended hours and/or overtime to complete the necessary duties of the job.
- Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.
- Ability to use time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner.
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
- Ability to read and understand standard shipping documents like Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
