Description


SAIC is seeking a Program Coordinator to NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) initiative focused on the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Mission to ensure seamless coordination and integration of products produced by multiple programs and projects and a unified voice when working with other members of the AAM ecosystem.

This work is implemented through many Projects distributed across all five ARMD Programs, including ACERO, AMP, ATM-X, CAS, FDC, RVLT, SWS, and TTT.

Success relies on executing a challenging R&D portfolio as well as coordinating related efforts in industry, supporting the development of national and international standards, and transferring technology products to the FAA and other beneficiaries.

The tasks would consist of supporting AMIO functions and responsibilities through administrative support in the areas of AAM. This position is in Washington, D.C.

  • Leveraging AAM technical expertise to support longer term AMIO activities. Past activities have included leading the drafting of the Scientific Assessment for IFAR2 and the Community Roles Subgroup submission to the US DOT's AAM Interagency Working Group. Upcoming activities could include supporting development of an AAM automation roadmap and facilitation of and modeling for the NASA/FAA Research Transition Teams (RTT) focusing on architecting and automation.
  • Ensure upcoming support between AMIO, the AETC Portfolio Office and potential future collaborations is deconflicted.
  • Host, provide inputs to, and ensure AMIO biweekly and Quarterly Integration Meeting (QIM) materials are updated for each meeting and archived.
  • Track and coordinate AMIO needed approvals of press releases and potential partnerships reviews in NASA's Partnership Agreement Maker (PAM) system.
  • Leveraging knowledge of AMIO activities, draft weekly ARMD highlights submission.
  • Lead the development of the remaining AMIO governing documentation such as the AMIO Change Management and Schedule Tracking Plan and Partnership Strategy and ensure the already completed documentation remains current. Approximately 10 plans in total.
  • Maintain configuration management of AMIO documents, meeting slides, and briefings and process external release requests using NF 167
  • Assist AMIO in responding to ARMD actions including those around records management, organization charts.
  • Coordinate obtaining standards development memberships for SAE and ASTM including maintaining rosters of current members, submitting membership forms for new members, and verifying that membership invoices are paid.
  • Track upcoming AMIO outreach events and ensure logistics for events are completed within deadlines. Including processing presentations through the NASA Export Control process.
  • Coordination of meeting scheduling and invitations, documenting meeting proceedings, reserving conference rooms and visit requests.
  • Coordinate scheduling and preparation meetings for recurring events such as the AMIO Offsites, AMIO biweekly meeting, QIM, monthly meeting with the Office of the Associate Administrator, meetings with the Program Directors and Aeronautics Research Directors.
  • Manage the configuration of Teams document archives including current graphics products, external briefings, AAM related programmatic briefings.

Qualifications

Required Education:


  • Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

Desired Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years' experience and have a basic understanding of program and project management.

Required Experience:


  • Experience with Aviation, NASA, or Aeronautics.
  • Shall possess demonstrated competencies in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft SharePoint, and general teleconferencing and web conferencing support activities.
  • They should be selfmotivated and capable of working independently but also be able to function in team environments with shared responsibilities.

Certifications:


  • PMP certification or in progress.

Clearance:


  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Target salary range:
$100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy:
SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
