    First Nations Community HealthSource is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center, serving unserved and underserved populations.

    Our Dental Clinic is expanding operations and we have a new full-time opportunity available for a dentist that enjoys a fast-paced environment and taking on new challenges.


    Responsibilities Include:
    Perform dental examinations and assessments on patients

    • Diagnose dental conditions and develop treatment plans
    • Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
    • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive dental care
    • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems such as Dentrix
    • Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental environment
    • Stay uptodate with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses

    Skills:

    • Proficient in patient assessment and diagnosis of dental conditions
    • Experience with CAD/CAM technology for designing and fabricating dental restorations
    • Strong knowledge of medical documentation and recordkeeping practices
    • Thorough understanding of infection control procedures in a dental setting
    • Familiarity with medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims
    • Proficiency in using electronic medical documentation systems such as Dentrix
    • Ability to take vital signs and monitor patients during dental procedures
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices
    • Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and manage a busy de
