Position:
Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, part of the Legacy Health system, is actively recruiting for a general surgeon to join our team.
Selected candidate must be team-oriented and have the ability to interact well with colleagues inside and out of the group.
Our surgeons interact regularly with multiple surgical and non-surgical subspecialties as well as the hospitalist service and outpatient Primary Care.
Good Samaritan Hospital shares and academic affiliation with Oregon Health and Science University, serving as a community site for the General Surgery Residency Program.
Candidate will be expected to participate in clinical education. No research is required.Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland is known for its specialty programs and clinical excellence.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have an MD or DO degree and be eligible for state medical license.
Successful candidate must have completed a general surgery residency program, be board certified / eligible by the American Board of Surgery and possess an active ACLS.
