Description
Vector is developing and operating a cloud-based information system for managing embedded software components.

Customers and employees can use this system to stay informed about discovered issues in these software components and corresponding fixes.

For the "Problem Reporting" area, the usability of a graph database management system (DBMS) should be investigated and evaluated.

In addition to questions about the functional mapping of the area in a graph DBMS, non-functional questions about the simplicity or complexity of installation, configuration, and administration, as well as the operation of a graph DBMS, are of great interest, as non-functional properties typically have a stronger influence on the architecture than functional properties.

We are therefore looking for motivated students who are passionate about developing database applications within a larger microservice architecture and who would like to test alternative current database technologies, such as graph DBMS, in practical problem cases with us.

We offer an environment where you will be surrounded by like-minded individuals. You will work with us in a small agile team.

The position can also be filled as part of a thesis

Earliest start:
Winter semester 2024/25

It is important to us that you get to know working at Vector on site.

In order to balance your studies and work, we offer mobile work after individual coordination, depending on the specific task.

Please note that pure remote work is not possible.
