    Description

    SciPro have partnered with a growing Global Biopharmaceutical organization that is looking to expand its finance team due to significant global growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional to lead both operations and accounting in key areas such as AP, AR, Concur, and T&E on a global scale. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical sector.

    The Associate Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of accounts payable and receivable, month-end close processes, and manage a team of accounting professionals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, and internal controls.
    • Manage financial close processes in compliance with GAAP.
    • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and reports.
    • Support audits, drive automation projects, and process improvements.
    • Manage P-Card program, Concur team, and expense reimbursements.
    • Monitor aging reports, and handle 1099 and CMS reporting.
    • Track Key Performance Indicators for continuous improvement.
    • Lead month-end financial close and coordinate AP functions.
    • Provide guidance to internal customers and ensure process efficiencies.
    • Develop and document processes within the PTP function.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA required.
    • 8+ years of AP experience; 3+ years in management.
    • Big 4 audit experience (minimum 3 years).
    • Hands-on management style with global team leadership.
    • Proficiency in Oracle ERP and Concur.
    • Biotech/pharma industry experience preferred.
    • Strong US GAAP knowledge; EU and APAC statutory familiarity.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
