Job Description

TRC Talent is looking for a **full-time manufacturing engineer** to join a division of **an outdoor construction equipment manufacturer in Athens, GA**. This role involves working on structures for small tractors with **highly automated fabrication**, including **robotic welding and CNC machining**. Ideal candidates will have experience in **welding, PLCs, 3D software, NPI**, and **fabrication**.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop capital forecast related to new product introduction, capacity increases, machine replacement, and process improvement.
Maintain processes, tooling, and equipment for building small track-type tractors while meeting quality requirements.
Validate process cycle times through time studies.
Monitor process performance and quality.
Troubleshoot process issues and lead improvements.
Respond to customer problems and drive process enhancements.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams.
Conduct process improvement activities to reduce costs.
Review NPI concepts and prints for manufacturability.
Provide support across shifts as needed.

Requirements:

Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience in manufacturing processes.
Understanding of Problem Management Process.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
Skills in CAD software and GD&T.
Experience in first ops processes and industrial automation.
Welding and project management experience.
Ability to work with ERP systems and Microsoft Office 365.

The position is based in Athens, GA.
