Description
Collects used kitchenware and dishes from dining and kitchen areas, loading and unloading washing machines, organizing and storing clean dishes in designated areas.
Responsibilities:
- Collect used dishes and kitchenware from busbins/ dish drop area.
- Wash specific items by hand if necessary (large cookware/ delicate china)
- Store clean dishes, glasses, flatware and equipment appropriately
- Ensure there are enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils for service, especially during peak hours
- Check washing machines operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
- Remove garbage regularly/ replace can liners as necessary
- Sweep and mop kitchen area floors at appropriate times
- Previous experience as dishwasher preferred
- High School Diploma preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed
- Time management and task prioritization skills
- Attention to detail
