Will float between Obstetrics, Cardio/Telemetry, Behavioral Health and Med Surg

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

Deliver exceptional nursing care by conducting skillful assessments, making accurate diagnoses, and defining desired outcomes.
Implement and evaluate treatment plans in strict adherence to facility or departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe work environment for all, ensuring the well-being of both patients and staff.
Continually strive to enhance your clinical and professional competency, tailoring your approach as necessary to meet the specific needs of the patients you serve.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:

Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
Basic computer skills.
BLS - Basic Life Support Upon completion of orientation Upon Hire

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
Pennsylvania RN License (current and in good standing)
1 year med surg department experience
Current BLS certification
Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care
Successful completion of additional orientation programs

About Us:
LVHN is home to five clinical institutes. Each serves as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and education. Our institutes include Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute, Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute, Lehigh Valley Institute for Surgical Excellence, Lehigh Valley Fleming Neuroscience Institute and Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute. LVHN is also home to Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital, which is the only children's hospital in the region. This hospital gives our community access to more than 30 pediatric specialties, Children's Express CARE locations and a dedicated Children's ER.
