- Perform annual DOT inspections on trucks and trailers
- Troubleshoot problems, discussing with equipment manager options for making economical and durable repairs
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and equipment on a company-wide basis
- Services vehicles/equipment to include oil changes, greasing, adding fluids, changing filters, and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, and drive trains
- Order parts and supplies
- Adjust functional parts of devices, control instruments, and all types of equipment
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Test equipment performance before and after repairs
- Operate and maintain company owned field service truck
- Report status of work orders on mobile devices
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Ability to service Vermeer Drills preferred
- Completion of a Diesel Technician school program is highly preferable
- ASE certification or any other certification is highly preferable
- Must be able to provide your own tools
- Valid Driver's License - Class A or B CDL required
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, reach, stand, climb, kneel, and push
- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job
