Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) at Middleport
In your first year of training, you will spend time at our training center.

There, you will receive a basic mechanical education, where you will learn how to inspect, mark, align, and machine tools and workpieces, as well as topics such as workplace safety.

After 1.5 years, you will complete the first part of your final exam. Following this, you will receive specialized training at the training center and in our production departments. Here, you will go through sheet metal cutting and forming, welding assembly, and assembly. You will also gain experience in maintenance, quality assurance, and testing.

You will also have the opportunity to gain the IHK additional qualification "Electrical specialist for designated tasks," which we support and encourage.

Once you have passed your final exam, you will be placed in one of our production departments, maintenance, or service directly at the customer's site, depending on our needs and your skills and interests.

Requirements
Good, qualifying secondary school diploma, technical secondary school diploma, or two-year vocational school in metalworking.
Interest and aptitude for manual work.
Duration of training and vocational school
Three and a half years. The theoretical training takes place at the Central Trade School in Buchen.
