Description

The Senior Project Manager (PM) will plan and manage complex software andnon-software projects using a balance of agility and predictability in afast-paced technological environment.

This includes establishing project goalsand objectives, identifying and scheduling resources, developing projectplans, coordinating requirements gathering, and executing the projectwithin scope, schedule and budget constraints while maintaining alignmentwith Tyler's standard Statement of Work.

LocationLubbock, Texas | Lakewood, Colorado | RemoteTravel0-5%ResponsibilitiesResponsible for defining project scope, establishing and documenting systemrequirements, ensuring adherence to the contract and Statement of Work,and other related project management duties.

Develop trusted relationships with our clients, at all levels of the projectteam from front-line customer service staff to department directorsLiaise with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to ensure desiredproject progression.

Initiate, direct and lead project meetings, prepare reports, maintainschedules and cost plans, manage and control for risks, and all otheraspects of the project from inception through delivery.

Assist the Director of Professional Services with special projects related tothe overall PMO team and portal operations.

Change Management:
Coordination and facilitation of change management,,assessment, planning, risk management, execution and testing.

Developsand maintains project documentation from initial request, through approval andProject Planning and Management:

Define project scope and schedule whilefocusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead projectstatus and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports;manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and performdelivery planning for assigned projects.

Communicates regular status updates to key internal /external customers andstakeholders throughout the life cycle of the project, verbal and written.

Project Leadership - Holds teams/individuals accountable for theircommitments, removing roadblocks to their work leveraging organizationalresources.

Team building - promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each teammember is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution,and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality for the team.

Process Management and Improvement - Champion ongoing process improvementinitiatives to define and implement best practices.

QualificationsUndergraduate degree in engineering, information systems, business,computer science or equivalent work experience in project managementMinimum of Five years' experience in project managementDesire and ability to work in fast-paced, highly flexible andentrepreneurial environmentAbility to understand and evaluate a variety of technologies and platformsTrack record of delivering high quality projects on time and on budget tosatisfied customersExcellent communication skills including strong written and verbal abilitiesAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely follow-upand follow-throughWorking knowledge of Jira/Confluence a plusExperience with Professional Services Automation tools a plusState-Specific Salary Range Disclosure RequirementsSalary will gen rally fall between $69,797 - $91,837 before adjustmentfor geographic differences.
