Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a national utilities company located in Southern Germany. This role will involve managing EPC and external suppliers for various exciting projects involving new power plants in the region.

This is a permanent position, currently in the design phase, with some flexibility for remote work. However, once construction begins, the expectation is to be on-site.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas:

  • Planning, tendering, project management, construction, assembly, and commissioning supervision, including acceptance testing of electrotechnical components and systems in renewable (particularly on-/offshore wind, PV, hydropower) and conventional power generation plants, as well as thermal waste treatment plants
  • Conducting basic investigations and feasibility and economic studies in the fields of electrical engineering and control technology
  • Managing work and interfaces with internal and external suppliers and service providers
  • Project and work package management with responsibility for budget, schedule, and quality
  • A degree in electrical engineering, with a specialization in power engineering, renewable energies, or electrical machines
  • Extensive knowledge and several years of professional experience in project execution in the field of power generation plants (renewable/conventional) for the aforementioned tasks are mandatory
