    Job Description:

    Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations is seeking a creative and dedicated Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in crafting memorable experiences for our clients and their guests. You'll be responsible for ensuring seamless event planning and execution, both on-site and in the office.     Responsibilities:

    • From concept to execution, you will actively participate in every stage of the event planning process; supporting, managing, and overseeing event setup, execution, and cleanup for a minimum of 10 events throughout the year ranging from 50-45,000 people
    • Handle administrative tasks such as file maintenance, calendar organization, and event-related planning including but not limited to order placements, vendor monitoring
    • Develop event proposals and participate in client presentations.
    • Research themes, decor, and entertainment ideas for events.
    • Attend weekly internal & client meetings as required.
    • Exhibit a strong sense of budget management.
    • Demonstrate strong internal and external communication skills, effectively conveying event concepts and plans.
    • Foster and cultivate client and vendor relationships.
    • Introduce and recommend our preferred vendors for event services, including: florists, decor, lighting, DJs, event rentals, and staffing.
    • Develop a thorough comprehension of local, state, and venue-specific permits and licensing prerequisites for events, encompassing Special Event permits, health permits, liquor permits, Certificates of Insurance, W-9 forms, and Hold Harmless agreements, among others.
    • Manage deposits and payments.
    • Addresses concerns and mitigate incidents with clients and or guests.
    • Implement social media and marketing strategies for events when applicable.

    Requirements:

    • Preferred but not required: Bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Customer Service Experience, Business, or related field.
    • 1 or more years of experience in the event industry.
    • Strong dedication to and understanding of the event industry.
    • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
    • Availability for travel and on-site event management.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Email Management.
