- This position is responsible for building a local cloud-like system to support an engineering team.
- A successful candidate will be able to work closely with IT, DevOps, and software engineering teams to build a solution tailored to their individual needs and use-cases.
- Hands-on experience with local virtualization systems such as VMWare, OpenStack, or OpenNebula
- Experience with KVM/QEMU virtualization, network topology and VLANs, and storage systems
- Experience deploying production systems and building monitoring systems and usage reporting
- Experience integrating virtualization technologies into existing workflows
- Experience with provisioning and configuration management technologies such as Ansible or Terraform
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field or experience
