    • Share responsibility with other nursing staff members in the planning, coordination, and evaluation of the various public health nursing programs.
    • Educate the community regarding public health services; may instruct specialized preventative health courses.
    • Develop and conduct lectures and demonstrations on new techniques for nurses in public or private clinics.
    • Review, evaluate, and develop public health care/nursing services for utilization within health centers or community settings.
    Bilingual Public Health Nurse IV's Qualifications
    • A bachelor of science degree in nursing and a current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas is required.
    • Four (4) years of experience as a practicing registered nurse is required.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
    • Must have a Valid Texas Driver's License.
