Summary**:


  • This position is in the Contract Administration Group reporting to the Senior Manager of Contract Administration and
supporting the Intrastate Pipeline and Marketing Commercial Groups. The position can consist of any combination of
functions including Contract Administration for marketing and/or transportation activity, deal confirmations or master data
set-up in our systems.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Depending upon the specific job functions:
  • Draft marketing or transportation contracts and/or confirmations
  • Setup contracts in the appropriate system
  • Confirm physical gas deals using various methods
  • Work with counterparties to obtain the required documentation to get them approved and setup in preparation for trading
and settlement

  • Setup all meters on our Intrastate pipes, as well as ones requested on 3rd party pipes
  • Meet SOX requirements as established for this position
  • Could be required to be included in a rotating "on call" schedule

Requirements:


Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.

The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • 2+ years of Gas Industry experience preferred for all applicants
  • Strong Word & Excel skills
  • Strong computer and research skills
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 58 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Quorum and/or Allegro Systems would be beneficial
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a highstress environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with various groups internally and externally
  • Ability to multitask

Working Conditions:


The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.- Usually, normal office working conditions.


  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
