***: The Quality Assurance Coach will provide technical assistance, coaching and monitoring of Youth and Site Leaders at multiple District sites for site-based, expanded learning programs. The Quality Assurance Coach will provide technical assistance to site-based programs to facilitate the academic, social, and emotional growth of students and staff. The Quality Assurance Coach will also plan events, attend District and community meetings and events and will operate as an ambassador for expanded learning programs. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Coach will assist in scheduling of employees and assist the Executive Director with administrative duties and ensure the safety and quality of programs. This work schedule follows the academic calendar of the San Bernardino Unified School District.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Provide support, assistance, modeling, and guidance to sites and staff in the implementation of quality expanded learning programs in compliance with requirements.
  • Responsible for staff development to ensure that programwide standards and best practices are followed at all expanded learning sites.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, training, and performance assessments for program staff to ensure quality programming is delivered to students.
  • Maintains observation logs, site visit reports, and agendas as documentation of technical assistance provided.
  • Prepares reports on site visits and observations to review weekly and monthly.
  • Assist in the YMCA CAPS staff recruitment process
  • Approve and input time corrections as needed in our payroll system
  • Coordinates delivery of services to sites such as special events, guest speakers, and field trips.
  • Assists in the selection of appropriate curriculum and materials.
  • Acts as a resource to site staff in curriculum development and as a leader in student recruitment, retention, and program design.
  • Attends scheduled meetings with CAPS administration

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's Degree human services, human resources, business or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years in leadership or staff development position.
  • Minimum of 2 years as Site Coordinator or Quality Assurance Coach/Trainer or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
  • Proven track record of staff training and development.
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willing to travel to school sites.
  • CPR and First Aid required within 30 days of hire.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
