Responsible for the completion of commercial office building service tasks, projects, preventative maintenance and communication with tenants. Job responsibilities include maintenance of building structure, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, security and scheduling projects with sub-contractors.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintenance, inspection, and facility related tasks and projects including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, carpentry and other equipment as needed.
  • Timely and accurate completion of service calls.
  • Monitoring and maintaining building control systems.
  • Monitoring condition of properties and report to management.
  • Preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
  • Ensure health and safety of workers, tenants and buildings.
  • Completion of facility and tenant projects as assigned.
  • Rotating 24/7 oncall and backup.
  • Keep accurate records and maintain a reasonable level of organization.
  • Professional appearance, attitude, quality service and communication with customers.
  • Assisting with tenant movein and moveout processes and turning over vacant space.
  • Maintaining and organizing inventory, mechanical rooms, workshop and all other nontenant related TGC owned space.
  • Responsible for maintaining vacant space for showings.
  • Responsible for compliance with all building rules, regulations, building codes, OSHA and safety.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of two years of building maintenance experience preferred or equivalent technical college training.
  • Experience in some or all of the following areas preferred: Electrical, HVAC, fire systems, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical equipment and security systems.
  • High School or equivalent required. College or technical education in building maintenance program preferred.

Requirements:


  • Requires 24/7 oncall availability on rotating basis.(Approximately 1 week, every 5 weeks)
  • Requires valid driver's license and the ability to be insured.
  • Requires ability to lift between pounds.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all business and client related information.
  • Required to sign Code of Conduct agreement.
  • Effective written and oral skills.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit and climb stairs or ladders.

Hours:
Full-time salaried position, Monday-Friday with rotating 24/7 on-call hours required.

Salary based on previous experience.
