    Job Description

    Matrimonial and family law firm located in Huntington, Suffolk County, seeking a full-time associate attorney to join our busy, collegial, team-oriented office. Practice includes all phases of divorce proceedings, custody, visitation, spousal/child support, family offense proceedings, neglect/abuse matters, adoption, and divorce mediation; as well as elder law, probate and guardianship proceedings.

    Responsibilities: legal research and writing, preparation of pleadings and motions, discovery, stipulations, petitions, conducting depositions, trial preparation, hearings, heavy client contact, participation in court conferences and in all phases of litigation.

    Qualifications: Candidate should be a self-starter, highly detail-oriented, diligent, have a strong work ethic and take pride in your work; possess solid oral and writing skills, with a strong command of the English language and grammar; have the ability to multi-task; work both independently, collaboratively with staff and with a varied clientele; and to present in a professional manner and with a pleasant demeanor with staff and clients.

    Experience: minimum of 3-5 years of experience in matrimonial and family law and admitted in the State of New York.

    Salary: $100,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus. Growth opportunity for the right candidate.
