Job Description

Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a temp to perm Recertification Specialist to join their Queens or Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

Gather information pertinent to income certifications from the tenants to generate annual recertifications
Liaise with tenants and property managers to verify submission of information and completion of the recertifications
Verify income information received from the tenants per the program regulations and enter the data into Yardi
Upon completion of the recertification, secure tenants' signatures and all necessary sign-offs
Review and update the tenants' files according to the program requirements

Requirements

High school diploma, some college preferred
3-5 years of recertification experience
Knowledge of Section 8, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, and HOME programs
Excellent people skills, customer service oriented
Skilled in Microsoft Office and Yardi
