    ​​​​​​Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a temp to perm Recertification Specialist to join their Queens or Manhattan, NY office.

    Responsibilities

    • Gather information pertinent to income certifications from the tenants to generate annual recertifications
    • Liaise with tenants and property managers to verify submission of information and completion of the recertifications
    • Verify income information received from the tenants per the program regulations and enter the data into Yardi
    • Upon completion of the recertification, secure tenants' signatures and all necessary sign-offs
    • Review and update the tenants' files according to the program requirements

    Requirements

    • High school diploma, some college preferred
    • 3-5 years of recertification experience
    • Knowledge of Section 8, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, and HOME programs
    • Excellent people skills, customer service oriented
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office and Yardi
