LACOE is seeking a highly motivated project management professional for the Technical Project Manager role. The Technical Project Manager plays a critical role in planning and leading projects across divisions within Technology Services.

This role will operate within the Network Engineering and Telecommunications Unit, ensuring seamless coordination of project related to network infrastructure, communication systems, and connectivity.

This position will also work with the Project Management Office at LACOE, collaborating closely to align project strategies, streamline processes, and maintain compliance.

Required Education and Experience

Education:
A bachelor's degree from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation.

Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.


Experience:
Three years of experience in coordinating, scheduling, and implementing information technology projects or programs.

Equivalency Provision:

A current Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), or equivalent may substitute for two years of the required education.


Additional Requirements:

A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites may be required.

Hybrid remote schedules may be available.
