WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm


ESSENTIAL TASKS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed satisfactorily.


Takes direction from the Entitlement Services management staff in the carrying out of all the usual general office clerical tasks: filling, coping, faxing, light typing, use of the computer with a particular knowledge and expertise of computer programs: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Office Excel.

In addition, manage and perform the highly specialized Entitlement Services managerial projects as described in details below:


  • Maintain Entitlement Files
  • Create Entitlements charts for ICL residents.
  • Organize files in chronological / alphabetical order.
  • Maintain existing filing system
  • Prepare FedEx envelops for Entitlements Specialists / Coordinators
  • Create mailing slips as per programs' requests
  • Track FedEx envelops when it is needed
  • Sort AMALGAMATED BANK'S consumers' individual statements and distribute them to Entitlements Specialists/Coordinators
  • Support Entitlements Technical Assistance with archiving procedure
  • Sort and forward incoming mail. Process mail for discharged consumers
  • Prepare and send outgoing mail.
  • Coping, scanning, faxing documents as needed
  • Additional related duties as may be assigned

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to use modern office equipment (e.g., computer, fax, copy machine, scanner etc.).
  • Ability to organize office operations.
  • Ability to design and maintain filing systems.
  • Ability to determine priorities.
  • Ability to interact with consumers in a respectful and professional manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma/G.E.D. _plus 2 years_ of relevant experience.
