Job Overview
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- Appropriate certifications or obtain certifications within a reasonable timeline.
- Six (6) years of healthcare business analyst/IT experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- Eight (8) years of healthcare business analyst/IT experience.
- Experience with software development and software testing/QA.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.- Serves as an experienced business specialist and technology generalist responsible for aligning technology solutions with business needs per the strategic direction set forth by leadership and key stakeholders.
- Serves as an intermediary between internal groups and third-party solutions or vendors to ensure the integrity and optimization of the technical build or solution is optimal.
- Leads more complex builds and issue research/resolution tasks.
- Secures sufficient and thorough system testing consistent with protocols established by the organizations governance committees prior to approving the migration of updates into the production environment.
- Develops and maintains standard technical and operational documentation for all implemented efforts to support sustainability and end-user education/ experience/ results.
- Manages medium to large sized projects with mínimal managerial oversight.
- Engages continuously with operational teams to gain context and an understanding of pertinent business processes and workflows.
- Promotes and champions a technology enabled, data-driven operations across the health system; aims to establish formal measures of performance for all initiatives, implemented workflow, and as determine fitting to quantify other efforts/ output.
- Serves as team lead assigned to specific initiatives and daily scope of responsibilities.
- Provides technical and professional guidance to less experienced team members to develop strong team dynamics and ensure the quality of the work output.
Physical Requirements:
- Mental requirements will be intense at times with involvement in many concurrent multi-faceted projects.
- Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate a computer keyboard or related equipment.
- Requires ability to see computer screen, monitoring equipment and reports.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio.
- Ability to gain additional competence using Microsoft Access, Project Management software.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, project management skills.
- Knowledge of organization and project management methodologies.
- Ability to influence others to prioritize and complete tasks, through completion by established deliverable dates.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity is required.
- Effective team player.
- Strong written and verbal communication with excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to understand and explain complex, technical information to a non-technical user.
- Ability to be agile and navigate through uncertainty; support team members ability to do the same.
- Ability to interpret data and identify meaningful patterns.
- Ability to be resourceful in gathering pertinent information to inform decision-making.
- Ability to manage and balance multiple priorities simultaneously. Organize work effectively; seek timely guidance as requires in order to complete all assigned work by established deliverable date.
