    Description

    ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST:

    Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

    • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
    • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
    • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
    • Understand expense accounts
    • Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, use tax, etc.)
    • All other duties as assigned

    Preferred Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

    • 1 year of related experience
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (primarily Excel)
    • Infor and SmartTouchAP software experience a plus
    • Be detail-oriented and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks
