This is a hybrid, on-site 3 days a week, and can be based in either Towson, MD or New Britain CT or Valley City OH United States

The Job:

As a Analyst/Data Specialist, you'll be part of our Operational Excellence team working as a hybrid employee


You'll get to:

  • Support manufacturing performance management and KPI reporting
- including visual display of performance

  • Distill critical information that drives business development opportunities across the practice and organization.
  • Support the development of our digital maturity road map including automating inputs to critical performance reports in collaboration with IT, Connected Factory, Digital Transformation
  • Optimize methodology and policies to for collecting and analyzing data
  • Support broader Operational Excellence(OpX) team on performance management and KPI methodology where applicable (e.g., Manufacturing Excellence Productivity reporting, determining if certain activities or programs were successful)
  • Determine and/or support additional analytics needs across OpX to enable Manufacturing as a competitive advantage as needed
  • Develop institutional knowledge by ensuring consultant expertise is captured and maintained in a centralized database.
  • Support and drive enterprisewide initiatives, through developing new technology, conducting research and deriving insights enabling better operational integration by serving as information conduit between Operational Excellence and Global Supply Chain, and particularly between regions.
  • Create and manage internal materials to enable and evolve best in class manufacturing performance.

You also have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent yers of experience
  • 3+ years of business experience working in a professional organization with at least one year of focusing in a technical development role
  • Able to analyze complex business data, transforming this information into valuable knowledge and actionable insights
  • Experience working in or with manufacturing or supply chain operations, manufacturing reporting experience preferred
  • Software acumen: Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Power Apps, MS Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Data Visualization: Understands how to best graphically present research findings to multiple audiences.
  • Additional preferred qualifications: Python, R, SQL proficiency, experience with data and IT infrastructure
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, global and domestic, trave may vary based on business needs
