Responsibilities

  • Performing day to day querying and analysis using SQL queries and procedures, and script execution to enhance understanding of data within a consolidated data store.


Considering amorphous problem sets or functional requirements to determine path forward on creating the query to support end user business needs.

Migration of queries, including conversion of syntax, from Postgres DB to a Redshift data store.

Developing materialized views, stored procedures and scheduled queries.

Analyzing existing queries for performance improvement and optimize runtime against Redshift database.


Requirements:


A Bachelor's Degree in a related field

5 years of relevant experience

Experience with Redshift and SQL
