DO YOU HAVE GREAT MATH SKILLS BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE TO USE THEM?Then join our small, family run metal fabricating job shop. We have an immediate opening for a motivated individual for this essential position. Primary responsibilities will include order processing, inventory processing, other accounting clerical duties, filing and answering the phone. Pay commensurate with experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- great math skills, able to use math to solve problems
- excellent critical thinking skills, able to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions
- ability to identify information by recognizing differences and similarities, and detecting changes
- familiarity with Microsoft Office
- good communications skills over the phone, in person and in writing
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- order processing for contract job shop
- inventory processing and costing
- participation in various accounting functions including accounts payable
- customer service
- filing
General Job Requirements:
- ability to work as part of a team
- good communication
- ability to problem solve
- knowledge of filing systems and office devices
- work overtime as needed for customer requirements
- able to speak and read English
- must be 18 years of age of older
Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.50 per week

Application Question(s):
- We cut out 385 parts on the laser but had to scrap 12 pieces because they were cut wrong. The shipping department packed up 7 boxes of 50 pieces each to go to the customer. How many parts were left to go into stock?
