The city of Freiburg is looking for you to join the Office of Fire and Disaster Management as a

IT System Administrator

for the Integrated Control Center

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for the administration of hardware and the virtualized and highly available 24/7 emergency control and communication management system of the Integrated Control Center, as well as the connected subsystems
You will ensure operational readiness and perform ongoing maintenance through suitable technical concepts, monitoring, error analysis, and proactive action (including on-call duty according to a duty roster)
You will develop the IT systems of the Integrated Control Center and train the users

Your qualifications

You have the necessary expertise through
- a completed university degree in the field of IT or
- another university degree with several years of professional experience in the IT
